Obesity is a disease.
We treat it as one.

Most people who come to us have already tried a great deal. With us it starts with an assessment — not with a verdict.

What we do

Assessment, treatment and long-term care — interdisciplinary, under one roof.

Your path

From registration to long-term care

Five steps, so you know what you are getting into. The assessment comes first — not the verdict.

  1. 1

    First consultation with a physician

    History, previous attempts, physical examination.

  2. 2

    Dietary assessment by phone

Our dietetics team calls to record how you eat day to day.

  3. 3

    Metabolic assessment

Laboratory, OGTT, bioimpedance analysis and indirect calorimetry.

  4. 4

Results consultation with a treatment proposal

All findings together — and a concrete proposal from them.

  5. 5

    Long-term care

Follow-up with laboratory tests and bioimpedance measurement, adjustment of therapy, over years.

Self-check

Where does my BMI sit?

Body mass index is a starting point for a conversation — not a verdict. It shows which range your value falls into, and what it leaves open.

The calculation happens on your device — nothing is transmitted or stored. BMI is a rough indicator: it does not distinguish muscle from fat and says nothing about where fat sits. It does not replace a medical assessment.

Newsletter for professionals

Stay up to date

For referring physicians and practice teams: news from the practice, course dates and changes to the Swiss Specialties List — about four times a year.

We are setting up the newsletter at the moment. Sign up now and you will receive the first issue as soon as it starts.

Sign-up currently runs through a short email to us. We use your address for this newsletter only and do not pass it on.

There is no newsletter for patients — people in treatment should not receive mail that becomes visible on a lock screen.
